The Plymouth has has a frame-off rebuild of the undercarriage. In 2009-10 the body was removed from the frame. The frame was stripped of all components, boxed and reinforced ready for a fresh start. Up front, a Fatman Stage II Mustang IFS was installed. A rebuilt L84, GM 350 was dropped on new motor mounts and linked to a 700r4 tranny. Out back, a Camero corporate rear end was hung on new 2 1/2" wide parallel leafs. Sway bars were added front and back for improved handling. Power brakes were added for the 11 front discs and 10" rear drums along with all new plumbing and proportional valves. A 16 gallon ss tank was installed. 2 1/2" exhaust tubes are connected to Sanderson powder coated headers. Power steering makes driving and parking a breeze. The 21 circuit "It's-A-Snap" wiring harness powers all the essentials and accessories. The car has been owned by the same person since 2001. It had been built into a street rod sometime back in the early 1990's, so the body has not been modified or painted by the current owner. The interior was refreshed in 2010 with new carpet, insulation and sound deadener. The trunk is finished to match the interior. The car has cruise control, but it is currently not working.
