1955 Chevrolet 210 2-Door Post SHOW WINNER - PRICE REDUCED
WINNER OF BEST 1950’S MODIFIED AT THE DREAMBUILDERS CAR SHOW AT EVERGREEN SPEEDWAY ON JULY 1, 2018!
You will find it hard to locate another ’55 in such great condition and so few miles on the chassis at just shy of 18,000. The car has been garaged since new and bought by the second owner in 1963, built out in the late 70’s after sitting for years and then parked again. This is one of 4 cars we bought from the collection with more to come. All are low mile cars in great condition with similar history.
This is a completely rust-free Eastern Washington car (originally purchased at the famous Curry Chevrolet in New York City in 1955) that has been inside it’s entire existence. The exterior of the car is flawless and it sits nicely on the period correct 15″ Billet wheels. The chrome is in great condition as well. The car needed nothing outside except a good cleaning and a coat of wax as it had been stored properly. It fires up on the first turn and has that distinct rumble that only a blower can give a car.
The original owner built out a 350ci engine at his speed shop and swapped out the
original for this one and it has been in there since. We know from it’s history that there are less than 10,000 miles on the drive train after installation as well. It has a small under-the-hood chrome B&M blower with forced induction and dual air cleaners set to the side. Headers flow down to a dual exhaust that sounds amazing. It has chrome Moroso valve covers, chrome alternator and all new belts, hoses and wires. He left the original, and often sought after, Harrison radiator which cools the car great. This car is a true “sleeper” in every sense of the word!
The interior is in great condition and set-up just as it came from the factory. Headliner and seats are in excellent condition and the painted dash is flawless. It has a full aftermarket gauge package circa the late 70’s when the car was “built out” and we located a tachometer to match the overall look from that era. It has the original radio and power brakes that stop on a dime.
