1970 Chevrolet El Camino Deluxe Model
Excellent restoration project, runs and drives but could use tuning.
Non original motor has late 70s 350
Factory tinted glass
Factory A/C
Under Vinyl top is very solid and in good shape!
4 new wheel cylinders, master cylinder, both rear brake lines on the diff, the main brake line that runs the length of the car,
Breaker points to get it running. Here's the good...solid rocker panels, nice hood and grille assembly, very solid floors front and rear and nice frame.Runs and lot drives or around the block. Clean gas tank doesn't clog the filter before the pump. Shifts thru all 3 gears. Looks to have a late 70's 350 with a q-jet and a 350 trans. Trans may be original , engine is not. She will start and run ok. No knocks, smoke or ticking. Actually sounds pretty good. A/C clutch engages with it turned on at dash controls.blower works. Original cloth seat actually looks real good for its age. Looks like the radiator was repaired and a water pump, belts and hoses were installed before being stored 10 years ago. The front wheel wells are nice, the rears are not too bad. The bad is obviously the rear quarters are shot, bed is fair, outer wheel houses in bed are poor but fixable for the right person. Gate mechanism works and the gate is in fair shape. Doors and fenders have been patched long ago and are poor. Dual Exhaust is their but fair to poor shape Truck was built the first week of January 1970 Kansas City Missouri. Cranberry red code 75 as an El Camino Deluxe Code 13680 v-8 factory a/c truck from the factory. Good truck for a restomod or a father son project. It has good bones. Sold as is, as shown. Approx 40,000 1970 El Camino Deluxe were made in 1970 with a v8.This one has holes in the fenders where a 350 emblem should be. It was probably an El Camino 350 from the factory, not a BB or a 307. Just want to be honest about it.
