1928 REO Speedwagon Tonner This beauty was featured on Extreme RVs and a previous owner was a circus performer. Chevy 350 V8: New pistons, camshaft/lifters, all bearings, oil pump, gaskets, GM HEI distributor. Fresh batteries, oil change, spark plugs and tune up in March 2024. Transmission: Chevy 2500 truck, 5 speed manual with new clutch at the time of installation VIN #: DC 801 Mileage: 7,503 after restoration Height: 9' 3 1/4" Length and Width: Exterior: 21' X 8'. Interior living space: 12' X 6'2" Wheels are the original split rim style with Denman/Titan tires. Dual rims in the rear have 4 tires 6.5-20 and the front tires are 6.0-20. Interior amenities: A Vintage Reliable 3 burner grey and white porcelain propane stove A combination ice box/refrigerator, converted from a small apartment size refrigerator, which can be cooled by plugging into electricity or using ice packs. It is set into the kitchen's handcrafted wood countertop which is edged with decorative Mexican tile. Below it is a handmade vertical wine rack. A custom-made table and booth seat provide a dining space or a work table. The driver's seat can be turned toward the table for extra seating. The unique kitchen sink is handcrafted from copper. There is a marine toilet in the bathroom as well as a Vaillant on demand hot water heater which can be set up for use. A bunk bed is in the rear and it can be easily disassembled to provide a space for sitting and relaxing by the back door. There are reading lamps on each side. This area also includes a small hanging closet and drawers. It can be closed off by a door and become a changing area or a private space. Storage space is reminiscent of that on a boat, with every little tucked away space set up as a storage area. There are dual batteries. One for the vehicle and the other to power the indoor lighting. The beautiful stained-glass windows and interior overhead lights are restored and are original to the vehicle. The small windows on the mollycroft top are clear leaded glass and can be opened. Everywhere you look, there is a thoughtful little detail including a bud vase. First driven after restoration June 2008
