1974 Jeep CJ 5 with a new Shell Valley Fiberglass and Kevlar reinforced tub and single piece front end, replacement body kit. This build has never been on the road under its own power except towed behind my truck. I ordered the body finished in the Black Gel Coat for a nice smooth appearance. Didn't intend to paint it so the Gel Coat made it look finished. I did mount it to the chassis along with mounting some accessories like pedal assembly, trans shifter assembly, windshield frame, lights, hood and wind shield hinges, etc. So it's partially assembled.
The biggest thing is the drive train. I had the AMC 360 rebuilt about 10 years ago but never got around to finishing the project. It has expensive head work done to install hardened valve seats so it would live on no-lead gas. Hasn't been started in 10 years so you will need to pour in some Marvels Mystery Oil and turn it over by hand. It has an Edlebrock Carb, headers, radiator, starter, alternator, exhaust. You will need to sort the trans. Has Dana front and rear diffs but no driveshaft at this time. Brakes have been sitting a long time so need a rebuild.
I have probably $7500 in the project. The chassis is rustfree before it was stripped and painted. Rims and tires are not included.
